Successful candidates will bring with them a portable book of business. The candidate must have strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and have mid or large law firm experience in labor and employment related matters. Responsibilities will include responding to written discovery and administrative charges, managing e-discovery, briefing dis positive motions, examining witnesses at trial or in arbitration, conducting mediation and settlement conferences, and drafting employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, employment policies and separation and release agreements. The candidate must be an excellent writer with finely honed analytical skills, able to handle multiple matters with independence and sound judgment, and able to work effectively and efficiently with other attorneys of the firm.

Responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and closing on all types of commercial real estate transactions, including, acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, and financing of office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and mixed-use projects. The candidate must be an excellent writer with finely honed analytical skills, able to handle multiple matters with independence and sound judgment, and able to work effectively and efficiently with internal and external senior management and real estate and governmental officials as well as with other attorneys of the firm.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and growing expertise in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing (both landlord and tenant representation) of mid-to-large size office, retail, industrial, medical, and master planned community projects. Skills will include an understanding of title and survey issues and the fundamentals of negotiating purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, construction agreements, and finance documents.
